Honeysuckle Time – Fragrant Summer Memories
This work is a tribute to the power of memory. Colours flow impulsively into one another, while playful lines move across the paper, creating a mood of joy. The starting point is the summer evenings of childhood, when the air was thick with the scent of honeysuckle and woodruff.
The warm, saturated tones evoke memories of light nights, long holiday days, and unsolved mysteries—the sudden recognition that a familiar scent can trigger. The title functions as a sensory threshold. The viewer is invited to move from the visual into their own landscape of memory; a space where impressions of the past are not merely recalled, but can be given new meaning in encounter with the present.
