Colourful Flower Pots

A fresh splash of colour on the windowsill

I love flowers in all shapes and colours, and I find that this is a great time to enjoy the flowers on the windowsill and at my table, while dreaming of and planning the abundant flowerbeds and pots outside, while I’am waiting eagerly for spring to arrive. The complementary colors blue and orange reinforce each other and create this lively and happy mood, while the cobalt blue and pink are having a sweet romance. The beautiful greys are unselfish and make the most of the orange that really pops out. I think that most colours mix well when it comes to flowers, especially outdoors but on my windowsill I like to create a mood, and I do like the sweet pinks and bold oranges. They bring joy and happiness just by beeing.

I have used the Unison Colour soft pastels on 360 g sanded Sennelier coloured paper. Completed just now as my first series in 2023, while longing for longer days and warmer weather. These artworks has a delicate surface that needs the protection of glass. You will find two of these exclusive to Return on Art. Contact me if you have any questions.
